Trout Priest
(The build is not ready for the public yet, but please follow the Devlog to see how the game is coming along. Send me a message if you'd like to playtest!)
---
Wallace the priest must survive waves of undead trout, and lay them to rest.
Controls (🎮)
â’¶ - Attack with weapon.
â“Ž - Grace your weapon.
Gameplay
You have two meters to keep an eye on - Heart and Grace.
Heart, similar to HP, depletes when Wallace is hurt. However, it is not his physical wellbeing, but rather his mental strength. When it reaches 0, he no longer has the resolve to continue his work. Likewise, when the Chapel is attacked, Wallace loses Heart.
Replenish Heart by waiting in the Chapel.
Grace is a buff of divine blessing. Regular strikes will damage the fish, but a divine strike is the only way to truly exorcise the undead creatures.
Replenish Grace by raising your weapon in the Chapel.

I'm excited for this idea. The colour scheme is great and I really like the idea of the priest in fishing galoshes. Zombie fish make me think of those louse-infested fish farms. Yuck.
A new and fresh idea, and I enjoy that the priest has "heart" instead of hearts.
Thanks! I think the colours are what have me the most excited, to be honest.
