You can now, actually, lose! 

When fish finally make it to the Chapel, they are obliterated, but cause it damage. This takes a bit of Wallace's Heart. Essentially, you and the Chapel share HP.


You get a warning when the Chapel takes damage.


At the beginning of the project, I wanted the game to not have a lose state, as Wallace does not "die" from taking too much damage. However, the gameplay loop requires some kind of failure to fight against. So while Wallace does not join the undead fish he sends to the Great Beyond, the chapel can take enough damage, crumble, and demoralise him to oblivion. He simply gives up.

There's also a nice little intro spin with some lore.
